D-S-Design has been awarded the Shaftesbury Chamberpot Award for creativity and growth in web design.

On 2nd March 2025, I was interviewed by Alfred News after receiving the Shaftesbury Chamber of Commerce Chamberpot Award! 🏆
This £250 grant supports local businesses working to expand their presence, and I’m incredibly proud to have been recognised for my work helping small businesses grow through creative web design and social media services.
In the interview, I spoke about how I started D-S-Design as a teenager — building my first website at 16 purely to share schoolwork. What began as a hobby soon grew into a full-time passion. My very first project was creating a site for the musical duo Belle Street, and since then, every client has come through local recommendations.
Working part-time at The Grosvenor Arms has also played a huge role in connecting me with other local business owners. It’s where I’ve met some amazing people and developed lasting partnerships.
The Chamberpot Award will help me invest in marketing materials, professional tools, and design resources to keep improving the services I offer.
