5. Cancellation Policy - D-S-Design’s Cancellation Policy is an integral part of these Terms.I require a 50% deposit to initiate your project, which is non-refundable. Additionally, if a client discontinues contact or engagementduring the project, they will be liable for partial or the entire cost,regardless of the project’s completion status. These include:- PayPal:You can make payments securely and conveniently using PayPal. .
Bank Transfer:I accept payments via bank transfer to my account. Please note that I do not accept cash or checks.
- Square Invoicing: My invoicing system is powered by Square, allowing for easy and secure payment processing. Please refer to my Privacy Policy for further information regarding the handling of payment information.

9. Client Responsibilities - As a client, you are responsible for:- Providing accurate and complete information & content required for your project.- Providing timely feedback and responses to my inquiries and design concepts.- Adhering to my Cancellation Policy and payment schedule.- Ensuring that all materials provided to me do not infringe upon any copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.

10. Project Completion - D-S-Design will strive to meet agreed-upon project deadlines. However, project timelines may be subject to change based on various factors, including the scope of the project and client responsiveness.

11. Intellectual Property - Upon full payment for my services, you will receive ownership of the final design files. Until full payment is received, all design materials remain the property of D-S-Design. You may use the final design for your intended purposes but may not reproduce, resell, or distribute it without my consent.

12. Feedback, Referrals and Revisions - I value client feedback and will make reasonable efforts to accommodate revisions and adjustments during the design process. However, excessive revisions beyond the scope of the project may incur additional charges.Referring D-S-Design's design service is highly valued and greatly appreciated. Your recommendations help us continue to deliver exceptional graphic and web design solutions.

13. Right to Showcase Work - D-S-Design reserves the right to showcase completed work in my portfolio, website, and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed upon with the client. If you have specific concerns regarding the showcasing of your project, please discuss this with me during the project initiation.

14. Consultation Meetings - A free consultation meeting is provided at the start of a project to discuss project requirements and objectives. Subsequent meetings, as needed, will be chargeable at £15 per hour. Any chargeable meetings will be agreed upon in advance with the client.

15. Dispute Resolution - In the event of a dispute between D-S-Design and a client, both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue amicably through negotiations and discussion.

16. Limitation of Liability - D-S-Design shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of my services or website.

17. Termination of Services - D-S-Design reserves the right to terminate services if a client breaches these Terms & Conditions. In such cases, no refunds will be provided.

18. Insurance - D-S-Design is protetected by Hiscox UK Business Insurance.

19. Changes to Terms & Conditions - D-S-Design may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in my practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Any changes will be effective as of the "Effective Date" stated at the top of the document.

1. Introduction - To initiate any project with D-S-Design, I require a 50% deposit of the total project cost. This deposit is non-refundable and serves as a commitment to securing my services. I begin working on your project upon receipt of this deposit, and it is essential for you to understand the implications of this financial commitment.

2. Cancellation Procedure - If you decide to cancel your project with D-S-Design, please follow the steps outlined in this cancellation policy to ensure a smooth process:
2.1. Notify Me in WritingI require that all cancellations be submitted in writing. You can send your cancellation notice via email to Project@D-S-Design.com. In your cancellation notice, please include your name, contact information, project details, and the reason for cancellation.
2.2. Cancellation Timeline -Upon receiving your written cancellation notice, I will acknowledge its receipt and confirm the cancellation. Please be aware that the project's cancellation will only be considered official from the date I receive your written notice.

3. Cancellation Charges -
3.1. Non-Refundable Deposit As previously stated, the 50% deposit required to start your project is non-refundable. This deposit is meant to secure my services and compensate for the time and resources I allocate to your project from the moment of initiation.
3.2. Cancellation Fees In addition to the non-refundable deposit, cancellation fees will apply depending on the stage of the project at the time of cancellation. These fees are outlined as follows:
3.2.1. Early Cancellation (Within 14 Days of Project Start)If you cancel your project within 14 days of its initiation, you will be liable for the 50% non-refundable deposit, along with an additional 10% of the total project cost.
3.2.2. Mid-Project Cancellation (Between 15 and 45 Days of Project Start)If you decide to cancel your project after the initial 14 days but within 45 days of its start, you will be responsible for the non-refundable deposit and 50% of the total project cost.
3.2.3. Late Cancellation (Beyond 45 Days of Project Start)Cancellations made after 45 days from the project's initiation will result in you being held accountable for the non-refundable deposit and the full project cost.
3.3. Incomplete Projects In cases where you discontinue contact and cease all communication with D-S-Design without officially canceling the project, it will be considered an incomplete project. Incomplete projects will be charged the full project cost, as I would have already invested time, effort, and resources into the work.
3.4. Cancellation of Maintenance contracts For clients with maintenance contracts who wish to cancel early, the cancellation will be subject to the same non-refundable deposit and cancellation fees as outlined in this policy. Maintenance contracts, once initiated, are non-refundable, and early cancellation will incur the stipulated fees.In addition, please note that early cancellation of a maintenance contract will result in the immediate termination of the contract. Once canceled, maintenance contracts cannot be reinstated, and any remaining services or benefits will cease. Maintenance contract fees are non-refundable, and no refunds will be provided for early termination.

4. Project Termination by D-S-Design - In rare circumstances, D-S-Design reserves the right to terminate a project if the client's actions or inactions prevent the project's successful completion. In such cases, the client will be notified in writing, and any fees paid will be refunded, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

5. Right to Showcase Work - D-S-Design reserves the right to showcase the completed work in our portfolio, on my website, and in promotional materials. I consider our projects to be a reflection of my expertise and capabilities, and featuring them in my portfolio helps me showcase my skills to future clients. If you have concerns regarding the public display of your project, please communicate this with me during the project initiation phase, and I will address it accordingly.

6. References to Terms and Conditions, Cookies Policy, and Privacy Policy - By entering into a project with D-S-Design, you acknowledge that our terms and conditions, cookies policy, and privacy policy apply. Invoicing and Payment Methods - All invoices will be sent via email to the address you provided during project initiation.Payment can be made using the following methods:- Square invoices, Bank Transfers & PayPal. 8. Late Payment Fees - If payment for services rendered is not received by the due date specified on the invoice, a late payment fee may be applied. Late payment fees will be calculated as 10% of the outstanding invoice amount for each month of the Billing Cycle that the payment remains overdue. These fees are intended to cover administrative costs and the inconvenience caused by late payments.

9. Sickness and Absence - In the event of sickness or unexpected absence on my part, I will make every effort to communicate this with you as soon as possible. Projects may experience delays as a result, but I will work to minimise any disruptions and will keep you informed of any changes to the project timeline.

10. Refunds - for cancellation fees, where applicable, will be processed within 5 days from the official cancellation date. The refund will be issued via the same payment method used for the deposit.

11. Resumption of Projects - Should you decide to resume a project that was previously canceled, you may be subject to additional fees or changes in project scope, depending on the circumstances. Resumption of projects will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

12. Amendments to the Cancellation Policy- D-S-Design reserves the right to amend this cancellation policy at any time. Any changes made to the policy will be communicated to clients via email or postal mail. It is your responsibility to stay informed about the most current policy.
