1️⃣ Project Overview
Sloanes Bespoke Hair is a luxury Aveda salon based in Shaftesbury, Dorset , offering bespoke hair services and premium client care. The Sloanes team approached D-S-Design Studio to create a modern, luxurious website that reflected their high-end brand identity while giving clients a simple, seamless way to browse services and book appointments online.
As a service-led business, the website needed to reflect the quality of the salon experience while remaining practical for existing and prospective clients. Strong imagery, clear service information and an easy-to-use mobile experience were therefore central to the project.
2️⃣ The Challenge
The salon’s previous website lacked the refinement and functionality expected from a premium brand. They needed a new digital space that felt elegant yet approachable, with clear service information, booking integration, and visuals that matched the quality of their in-salon experience.
3️⃣ The Solution
I designed a sleek, minimalistic website using a neutral yet rich colour palette inspired by the Aveda brand. The design combines high-quality imagery, elegant typography, and subtle motion to convey sophistication. Navigation was simplified to highlight services, pricing, and team profiles, while the online booking system was fully integrated for a smooth, hassle-free client experience. Built with a CMS, the Sloanes team can easily update content, add promotions, and manage gallery imagery. On-page SEO optimisations improved visibility for Aveda salon Shaftesbury and luxury hair salon Dorset .
4️⃣ The Result
The finished website perfectly reflects Sloanes’ commitment to excellence — a digital experience that feels as polished as the brand itself. It now serves as both a marketing tool and an appointment hub, helping new clients discover the salon and returning clients rebook with ease.
The website provides Sloanes Bespoke Hair with a polished digital presence that can be maintained as the salon, team and services evolve. Ongoing website care also helps keep content current rather than allowing the site to become static after launch.

Feedback
'When we approached Daniel to work with us on our new website he immediately eased our concerns about this (to us), daunting task! He took time to get to know our brand, vision and team so he could get it right. He seems to appreciate and understand how personal a website is to a small business and has guided us through all elements of the design. He has given us welcome 'nudges' to ensure we achieve our goals when we become distracted by the day to day running of our business. Since meeting Daniel as our web designer he has also taken over the design of our advertising campaign and is now our 'go to' for all things marketing. Would highly recommend Daniel
