1️⃣ Project Overview
The Shaftesbury Trinity Centre Trust is a local charity dedicated to community connection, creativity, and wellbeing in Shaftesbury, Dorset . The Trust needed a modern, accessible website that clearly communicated its mission while making it easy for visitors to explore events, get involved, and support its ongoing projects.
As a community-focused organisation, the website needed to serve a broad audience with different reasons for visiting. Clear navigation and accessible information were therefore important so that local people could quickly understand the centre, its activities and how to get involved.
2️⃣ The Challenge
The existing online presence lacked structure and accessibility, making it difficult for users to find information or engage with the Trust’s work. The new site needed to feel warm, welcoming, and easy to navigate for people of all ages — from volunteers and local residents to potential donors.
3️⃣ The Solution
I designed a clean, community-centred website with warm colours, friendly typography, and uplifting imagery that captures the spirit of the Trust. The layout prioritises clarity, with simple menus linking to events, community projects, facility bookings, and donation options. A fully integrated CMS allows the team to manage content, post news updates, and share success stories independently. On-page SEO helps the site rank for community trust Shaftesbury and local charity Dorset , extending its reach across the region.
4️⃣ The Result
The finished website is now a vibrant hub for community engagement — clear, inclusive, and inspiring. It helps the Shaftesbury Trinity Centre Trust share its mission more effectively, attract volunteers, and keep the local community connected.
The website provides Shaftesbury Trinity Centre with a clearer community-facing platform and a practical foundation for keeping local information available online as activities and requirements change.
