Just Collected My Prestige Award – Creative Design Studio of the Year 2025/26

Two hours ago, I walked out of the Meon Valley Hotel, Golf & Country Club holding something I’ve worked incredibly hard for.

The Creative Design Studio of the Year – South West award from the Prestige Awards 2025/26.

And I still don’t think it’s fully sunk in.

A Special Evening at Meon Valley

The awards presentation took place at the Meon Valley Hotel, Golf & Country Club — a beautiful setting and a fitting place to mark such a huge milestone for D-S-Design Studio.

Walking into the venue knowing I was there to collect an award for my own studio felt surreal.

D-S-Design Studio started as just me and a laptop. No team. No investors. Just determination, long hours, and a genuine belief that small businesses deserve websites and branding that properly represent them.

To now be standing there, officially recognised as Creative Design Studio of the Year for the South West, is something I’m incredibly proud of.

Sharing the Moment

What made it even more meaningful was who I shared it with.

I was accompanied by my partner and my best friend — the two people who have seen the behind-the-scenes reality.

They’ve seen the late nights. The early mornings. The moments of doubt. The stress. The ambition. The growth.

Building a design studio isn’t just about creativity. It’s about resilience, consistency and constantly improving.

Having them there beside me while collecting the award made the moment feel grounded, personal and real.
